When I look in the mirror, my grandfather looks back…It’s a gift to accept my potential to love like God.
And so it is with God, easier to love the God who is not rather than the God who is, a God distant, one who cannot touch us.
Thank you, gentle God, for loving me as I am, through the ones who know me best, my family.
What I once planted I now consider a weed…but now, I see more clearly the better choices, the ones that lead deeper into goodness.
If you awake to find cows grazing on your front lawn, let them be. In fact, welcome them, these strange visitors.
