A “charism” is a spiritual gift given to share with others for their benefit. Clarence has been given the charisms of spiritual direction, writing poetry and painting. Over the past nine years, he has shared these gifts through his book Everyday Sacred and his monthly email, Connecting New. During this time many of you have affirmed that sharing these gifts has been uplifting, inspiring, thought-provoking or helpful to you in other ways. You have shared Connecting New emails with your friends. You have used poems from Everyday Sacred at retreats, weddings, funerals and many occasions in between. A Piece of Goodness
January 14 - I’ve rubbed the fabric of God so often that the threads poke out. The words I spoke to a friend this morning a stranger spoke to me in the afternoon.
January 11 - Free outdoor spirit dances in the prairie and blows through the trees, celebrating, seductive, gentle.
January 10 - When you ask “How can today be a loving day?” start close, with your spouse, your children, your parents, your neighbors…
