Just wondering…
Do you ever get tired of always being right,
more right than everyone else,
seeing the best possible approach with clarity and ease,
living in a black and white world absent the shadowy grays and ambiguities?
It must be easier I suppose to know how to navigate your own life so well,
yet more difficult to be so aware of where so many others fall short.
So as you can, I pray that you grow softer, yet remain true.
And as for me, I pray that I listen more attentively,
with gratitude for what you offer.
