Again
Believing Scripture, that when we abide in Jesus we
will receive whatever we ask, I said,
“Dear One, what request would please you most?”
And quick and clear was his response.
“Tell me again. Use this prayer to open your heart
and your mind to receive even more of my love.
Nothing could delight me more.”
So with tears of joy flowing, I asked,
“Dear One, tell me again.”
Reflection and Prayer
Find a quiet and a safe place to be with Jesus for a while. Then think about someone whom you love very, very much. Get in touch with what you most want for them, perhaps to feel loved, to be free, etc. Then open yourself to the love that Jesus has for you. In the silence just bask in that love for as long as you can. Then, when you are ready, allow Jesus to stand facing you, placing his hands gently on your head and praying for you. Receive the prayer and his love. Say “AMEN” to his prayer for you. It may be helpful to memorialize his prayer by writing it down, creating a painting, etc.
