There’s a gardener I know who reminds me of God.
He nourishes his spirit by connecting with the earth
and dances to the music of nature,
both with his body and his demeanor.
He has a tender spot for flowering plants,
common and unusual are all very special to him.
Scattering seeds of all kinds,
he lets go of the process and the results,
and he lives happier trusting (actually knowing)
that goodness and beauty will come –
always has, always will.
I want to touch him, smell him, look in his eyes and smile.
The world needs more gardeners like him.
