A “charism” is a spiritual gift given to share with others for their benefit. Clarence has been given the charisms of spiritual direction, writing poetry and painting. Over the past nine years, he has shared these gifts through his book Everyday Sacred and his monthly email, Connecting New. During this time many of you have affirmed that sharing these gifts has been uplifting, inspiring, thought-provoking or helpful to you in other ways. You have shared Connecting New emails with your friends. You have used poems from Everyday Sacred at retreats, weddings, funerals and many occasions in between. April 3 - I used to struggle and cling, but now I am grateful and free, because love has done its work, and because love is not done with me yet.
April 2 - When we imagine Jesus feeling abandoned and crushed by Peter’s denial…we deny the love of Jesus for Peter and for us.
March 28 - When I see her reach for you it makes me jealous…and it brings me an even bigger feeling…gratitude that her grandpa loving is doubled.
