Deeper
There comes a point
where we let go completely…
of trying to remember,
of paying attention,
of doing.
Like a scuba diver out of air
sinking into the depths of the ocean
silent
dark
timeless
boundless
our soul blossoming into the fullness of God
dissolving any separation of individual consciousness.
There comes a point
where we let go completely…
for some, at death
(or perhaps even on their way to heaven),
for others, at a crucial moment
of crisis, instability, decision,
and for me, I welcome it now.
“Take me now, Great Mystery,
into the darkness of your love.
Take me now, this moment.
And should there be life after this death,
let me live it entirely in you.”
